My Approach

My approach is non-judgmental, warm, welcoming and soothing. I also come to the table with laughter and a genuine desire for you to truly feel well.  My therapeutic approach is rooted in Person in Environment Theory, which can be alike to a holistic outlook, as I value what you are experiencing on an emotional and physical level and how that shows up within the environment you live in.

As I understand more about you, I will work with you to explore your values and motivations for change. Together we can create any pathway you desire taking.

I'm an Integrative Therapist, which means I will access a "toolbox" of knowledge of what has been researched and tested to qualify as "Evidence-Based" methods and treatments. Because there is no "One Size Fits All" in this life, I take care to utilize components of a number of evidence-based treatments so I can provide an individualized treatment approach to meet your needs.

Evidence-Based Therapeutic Frameworks

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Strengths-based, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy

Theoretical Frameworks

  • Relational Frame Theory

  • Person in Environment Theory (PIE)

  • Attachment Theory
