Chronic Illness & Health Complications

A new or chronic diagnosis is not the end. It is your new beginning.

Chronic Health Conditions are medical issues which have no direct cure, but rather have to be managed in the long-term with medication or other types of medical interventions. Common examples include autoimmune disorders, diabetes, obesity, migraine headaches, irritable bowel syndrome, and various pain disorders. Understandably (though unfortunately), these medical issues can have emotional and behavioral consequences. Individuals who are forced to adapt their lives to accommodate a medical problem often find that it can be frustrating, discouraging, embarrassing, or overwhelming.

I will work with you to acknowledge and process stages of loss of what your life once was in order to make room for how joy can show up for you again.
